My journey started when…

I packed up my life and decided to travel full time. I didn't have a plan (which is pretty much how I ventured through all of my life's adventures). I explored parts of the United States I have never seen before and grew immensely. Through serendipity and a little bit of magic, I eventually found myself hosting a retreat in Peru. Once I reached the completion of that trip, I recognized that I wanted to highlight my adventures via social media and hopefully make a little bit of money through that to sustain my travels. I spent months researching and reading and listening to get ahold on what it means to be a leading force in the internet realm.

Well, it turns out traveling full time is NOT as glamorous as I originally imagined. I came back to America and found a 3 week cat sitting stay in Boulder, CO. By the time I reached Colorado I was feeling ready to unpack my bag and just be. I spent that 3 week cat sit thinking of what a stable life would look like for myself. I knew for sure that I couldn't sit in an office 9-5 so I decided to take the knowledge I accumulated through my travels on how to run a social media account and apply it to others.

I started with one client and made a lot of mistakes in the beginning. I began identifying myself as a social media manager and soon enough, people were reaching out to me to help manage their businesses. I saw a clear pattern and pathway for myself. My niche became working with women solo-preneurs in the heath and wellness field. Over time I gained confidence and a larger client base.

Becoming a business owner involved a lot of ups and downs. Doubt creeped in. I felt lonely at times and had the mentality that I was tackling this feat on my own. Though it took an immense amount of willpower, and the eventual support from family/friends/coaches, I kept going during the times that I had the biggest desire to quit. Every time I lost a client or worried about making rent I just continued to remind myself that life happens in cycles. Though things felt hard in that moment, one day it would flip around and things would feel ~easy~.

I believed in myself. Whole-heartedly. I relaxed and learned how to be gentle on myself, not compare myself to others, and reach out when I needed support. I knew I wanted the entrepreneur lifestyle and ket that as my overarching goal. I gave myself the time and room to grow through it all.
