living in the present
During my cupping session (which left those marks on my back) I chatted with my massage therapist, Eli about the the challenges/realizations we have been experiencing during this time in our lives. I shared with her that I saw this moment (coronavirus, revolutions, etc) as a massive wakeup call to really appreciate what I have in this moment. The phrase “enjoy it while you still can” feels more relevant now than ever. Rather than assuming I’ll get to it (whatever it is) another day, I’m beginning to understand that now really IS the only time. We have had so much taken away from us in the last few months, and I want to check in and fully feel gratitude for the little things in life right now.
