it’s all just a metaphor

As I walked along this mystical labyrinth, I reflected on my life’s journey. Corny? Maybe! But hear me out. ⁣

The labyrinth takes you through one specific walking path (not like a maze with many different options). As I walk through my own metaphorical path, there are twists and turns. I often find myself overlapping and “walking” next to or revisiting previous parts of my journey. There are parts that feel constricted and narrow, only to lead me to a wide and spacious area. ⁣

Even though this path is winding, there is one thing that is certain. There is a center (or middle) part. I can always see it but can’t always access it. At times, my anxiety takes over and I feel incredibly airy and ungrounded. Other times I am hyper aware of my center, my core, and I feel rooted in my experiences. ⁣

With this wild amount of down time, I have the opportunity to re-center myself and figure out what really suits me. I can (hopefully) let go of all of the gunk that has been holding me back, and restructure my life in a way that feels more conducive for me to reach my highest potential. Wish me luck!
